Account and data deletion
Use these instructions to permanently delete your Wordlink account and the data associated with it.
- Open Wordlink and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open the small profile control showing your name and statistics.
- Select Delete account and data, then confirm.
- If prompted, sign in again to verify that you control the account.
What is deleted
This removes the Firebase Authentication account, saved cloud statistics, saved Zen chains, shared-chain completion scores created by or tied to the account, friend profile, handle and code reservations, friendships, requests, blocks, reports, presence, account rate-limit records, locally stored game statistics and Zen chains, sign-in email, and the account’s data in its current room. Other players’ reciprocal friendship records are also removed. If the account owns that room, the room is removed. Other short-lived room data, including PingPong advanced-stat reports, and security records expire automatically under Wordlink’s retention policy. Permanent normalized dictionary terms, embeddings, and semantic pair records contain no player UID or room code and cannot be isolated to one account, so they are not removed automatically with an account.
Deleting Wordlink data does not delete a separate Facebook or Google account.
If the in-app control is unavailable
Open a privacy request containing only: “I need a private channel for a Wordlink account deletion request.” Do not post an email address, Firebase user ID, room code, or authentication token publicly.
